Hey beauty lovers! So I thought it would be fun to show you all the nail color trends I’ve been loving for the month June. These colors have been getting me through June gloom.. But now that it’s summer I can’t wait to wear these colors and others for the next couple of months!
I am so sorry I haven’t posted in a while but things have been crazy busy! If you follow me on twitter or instagram (tavi1088) then you have seen post of my nails for this past couple of weeks. So please follow if you want to be kept up to date!
So this week I decided to embrace the colors for spring and even though it has been rainy and cold. i thought pastels would just put me in a good mood.
What I am wearing:
-Base Coat: Sally Hasen Diamond Strength Nail Hardener
- Essie spring collection: Play date
- Top Coat: Seche Vite
So I decide to change my base coat from the Orly that I normally use because i was running low and it seemed that my nails were still easily breaking after a while with it. So hopefully the Sally Hasen Diamond Strength nail hardener will do a better job.
I really love this color and it just reminds me of warm days and ice cream lol.
Hope you all are having a great week and until next time!
So I know I have been lacking in nails of the week post but lately I just haven’t been loving the colors I’ve been wearing. if you follow me on Twitter you were still able to see what I’ve been wearing for the past couple of weeks.
Anyway, this is about what I’ve been wearing this week :) I purchased some of the polishes from the new Spring Essie Collection. Which to be honest, I am not that in love with because two of the colors I think I have in other polishes so I didn’t purchase those. Overall, I do love the collection and the pastel collection mixed with the hot neon colors.
So what I am wearing this past week:
My usual top and bottom coat (Seche Vite and Orly Nail Defense). The color is ole caliente by Essie.
As you can tell from the pictures that the color is a kind of a neon red. It is a very true red color and it going to look great during spring and summer months. The color did apply very thick than usual Essie colors. I did this in two coats. The polish retails for $8 at CVS, which is where I purchased the collection. I really do enjoy this color.
Hope you all are having a great Sunday :) Until next time.
Hi beauty lovers!
So I am back again with Part II of the What’s in my lipstick bag. This post is dedicated to the lipstick and lip glosses that I carry in my bag everyday. This is an upclose view colors so you can see how they wear on the lips form the tube. I also will be showing you the lip conditioners and scrubs that I use at home to keep my lips smooth :)
So first up is the MAC Lipstick swatches:
MAC Lip pencil- Entertain Me
MAC- Lady Danger (Matte)
MAC Lipglass- Knockout
Now without the Lipglass:
MAC Lipstick- Viva Glam Nicki (Satin):
Note: I had to add liner because for me this lipstick bleeds since it is a satin finish but it only to the outer line of my lips. I did not fill them in with the pencil, so that is the true color.
MAC Lipstick- Quick Sizzle (Matte):
MAC Lipliner: Embrace Me, MAC Lipglass: Styled Packed:
Next up: Rimmel Kate Moss collection Lipstick swatches:
Rimmel No. 8:
Rimmel- Kate Moss Collection No. 12:
*Sorry this one is so small.. lost the original picture and add to take another one.
Next Up: Lipgloss!
NYX- LG 129 Beige
MAC Lipglass: Viva Glam VI
Now for the products that I use to keep my lips from chapping:
I have to say that the best products that I have ever found to keep my lip moisturized and smooth has to be Sara Happ lip scrub and lip balm. Not only does it smell and tast amazing it is the perfect scrub that takes off all the dead skin cells. I highly recommend going and purchasing this product. It is not sold in Sephora and I’m not sure it is sold at Ulta. I ordered mine from BeautyCollection.com. They retail for $24 each product.
Hope you enjoyed seeing what I will be wearing this spring and into summer. Let me know which products you try out or what is your favorite lipsticks and lip glosses for this coming spring and summer.
